LifeLines Yard Tour
On April 18th at 2pm, Kensington Park’s very own Pam Callender will be hosting a Yard Tour of her property. Why is that interesting? Because Pam has built a pollinator habitat using native Florida plants and wants you to build one, too.
A pollinator habitat is a polinator-friendly environment and food source for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinating insects and wildlife. Building these in urban environments and neighborhoods helps our polinators survive, and in turn helps us survive.
Don’t miss the FREE yard walk.
Events & Initiatives
The Covid-19 pandemic has put a damper on many of the events and initiatives K-Park residents are used to. Kensington Park Civic Association is working hard to organize the regular events we have every year, resurect some events that have fallen to the wayside, and implement some new events. Check back regularly for more information, dates, and times.
Annual Garage Sale
This typically happens in October and we will announce the exact date once we have planned it.
Waste Dump Day
KPCA has historically hosted a county waste dump day. Large dumpsters are brought in for a day and KP residents can bring household waste that doesnt get taken weekly. Things like hazardous items, batteries, televisions, etc.
Kensington Park Civic Association releases 3 newsletters per year. Those release dates are as follows:
- New Year’s edition released in January.
- Spring edition released in May.
- Fall edition released in September.
Our newsletter is printed and hand-delivered to each Kensington Park resident, as well as posted to our website Newsletter blog and sent via email.
